KeystoneBEST is a discounted Stafford Loan available to Pennsylvania residents and out-of-state residents attending a Pennsylvania school who borrow from a participating lender. (First National Bank is a participant in the KeystoneBEST loan program.) KeystoneBEST Stafford Loans are lower in cost and easier to repay.  

• No origination fees. Students save 1% in origination fees; the 1% is underwritten by First National Bank.
• The interest rate is reduced by one quarter percent (0.25%) if you have your monthly payments automatically deducted from your checking/savings account.
