The First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown announces the following promotions:
Dorothy Cooper to Vice President
Dottie was hired at The First in 1979 as a teller in the Richboro branch. She became Branch Manager, as well as the Bank's Assistant Compliance Officer in 1988. In May 1991, Dottie was named Assistant Cashier/Compliance Manager and Trainer. She was named Assistant Vice President/Compliance Manager and Trainer in September 1992. Dottie has been the Assistant Vice President/Compliance Manager since June 2000. Dottie lives in Levittown.
Lindsay Lambert to Vice President
Lindsay was hired at The First in 1984 as a teller in the Main Office. She was named Assistant Branch Manager of the Yardley Road office in October 1989 and then became the Assistant Cashier at the Main Office Platform in January 1993. In February 1997, Lindsay was named Assistant Cashier/Branch Manager of the Levittown office, and was given the title of Corporate Officer in September of the same year. She was then promoted to Assistant Vice President in December 1999, and moved to back office as a Commercial Mortgage Lender in January 2006. Lindsay has been Assistant Vice President/Commercial and Construction Lending since July 2011. Lindsay and her husband live in Newtown.
Margaret Young to Vice President
Margaret
was hired in the Bookkeeping department part time in 1982. After a
brief hiatus she was re-hired as a teller at the Wrightstown Branch in
1989. Margaret was made a Branch Manager at the Fairless Hills office
in May 1994. She was named a Corporate Officer in September 1997 and an
Assistant Vice President in December 1999. Margaret moved to Loan
Administration in October 2010, when she assumed the role of Assistant
Vice President/Loan Training Officer. In January 2011, she took on the
responsibility of Management Trainee Coordinator, as well as Consumer
and Commercial Loans in July 2011. Margaret also handles the
responsibility of Branch Administrator. Margaret and her family live in
Langhorne.
