The First National Bank to Host FREE Document Shredding

In response to the public’s overwhelming attendance at the bank’s previously sponsored free shredding events, The First National Bank is once again doubling the document shredding capacity to meet the public’s demand. The document shredding event will continue at its new, bigger venue – The Bucks County Community College. It will be held on Saturday, October 13th.

“We are delighted to offer this free service to the community and we know from past experience that the public loves helping protect themselves against identity theft by bringing documents in to be permanently destroyed,” said Dan Shaffer, President of The First. “We do this every year and have expanded capacity to make the event move faster and be even more successful.”

Two shredding trucks will be on hand at the Community College location off of Swamp Road. Signs will direct cars once they enter the property. The event will occur between 9am and 11am at 275 Swamp Road in Newtown. Directions to the Community College can be found at www.bucks.edu.

Secure On-Site Shredding is provided by TITAN Mobile Shredding, the area's only NAID AAA Certified Mobile Document Destruction Company. Personal documents only. Limit four boxes per vehicle.

Founded in 1864, The First is Bucks County’s oldest, most established bank, with twelve branches throughout Bucks County. First National Bank is committed to local ownership, operation and investment.
