Account Terms
The following account terms apply to all accounts in this category unless otherwise marked:
- Variable Rate Accounts: The interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time.
- Determination of Rate: At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account.
- Frequency of Rate Changes: We may change the interest rate on your account at any time.
- Interest will be calculated on the daily balance method. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
- Minimum balances must be maintained to avoid maintenance fees.
- Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day you deposit noncash items (i.e., checks).
- A minimum deposit of $1.00 is required to open these accounts.
- Effect of Closing an Account: Accrued but uncredited interest under $1.00 will not be paid.
- Statement Savings Only: Interest is posted monthly. Fees could reduce earnings.
- Kids First Savings Only: Interest is posted monthly.
- Holiday Club Only: Interest is paid annually. No interest is paid if closed out early.
- Special Purpose Club Only: Interest is credited yearly and at the completion of the club with a maximum length of five years. This club does not renew automatically at maturity. A check will be mailed to you for the balance plus interest at maturity.
Account Fees
Statement Savings
Balances under $100 have a maintenance fee of $3 per month based on lowest balance during each 30-day period following account opening.
Money Market Savings
$5 monthly maintenance fee if the daily balance drops below minimum of $2,500
No check writing privileges
