February 10, 2020 Update


  1. All Consumer Debit Cards have been mailed to the Consumer Debit Card address on file.
  2. Customers should be in receipt of their Debit Card no later than 2/21/20.

Please remember to activate your new Debit Card.

All compromised Debit Card numbers will be closed on Monday 3/2/20.

February 4, 2020 Update


  1. All the Business Debit Cards have been mailed to the Business Debit Card address on file.
  2. We will continue to re- issue our Consumer Debit Cards through this week and next.  Customers should be in receipt of their Debit Card no later than 2/21/20.

January 27, 2020 Update


The First continues to be proactive in our response to the Wawa data breach. To that end, all cards impacted by the December 2019 Wawa data breach have been reissued and our processor will begin mailing them out on or about January 27, 2020. If you receive a replacement card please contact any companies that you have established recurring payments with.

Don’t forget to update your debit card in your SecurLock Equip mobile application.

All compromised cards will be closed on March 1, 2020.

Data Breach Details

Wawa’s information security team discovered malware on Wawa payment processing servers on December 10, 2019, and contained it by December 12, 2019. After discovering this malware, Wawa now understands that this malware began running at different points in time after March 4, 2019. Wawa took immediate steps after discovering this malware and believes it no longer poses a risk to customers.
