Fraud Alert Notice! Protect Yourself from Scammers.

It has come to our attention that individuals are receiving fraudulent texts and calls from someone impersonating a fraud specialist at The First National Bank & Trust Company of Newtown.

Details of the Scam:

  • The scammer attempts to obtain sensitive information, including your debit card number, expiration date, and home address.
  • They may contact you via text or phone call, claiming to be from our fraud department.

Recommended Actions:

  • Do not disclose your personal or financial information to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.
  • Verify the caller’s identity by contacting our customer service directly at 215-860-9100.
  • Report any suspicious activity to us immediately.

Protecting Your Information:

  • Use strong, unique passwords for your online banking accounts.
  • Never share the one-time PINs that are sent via text message.
  • Regularly monitor your account statements for any unauthorized transactions.
